When making this piece I felt a bit of a creative block and when doing some research I found that iguanas as spirit animals help people clear out doubt and worry helping spark change.
This piece from the background of the full moon to the mushrooms and iguanas is all about that process of change and rebirth.

For this piece I chose to use an octopus because of it’s ability to adjust and handle any situation, no matter how challenging or threatening. The octopus tentacles represent life’s complexity and how we can’t always control it in our own lives. The woman represents strength and an unbothered mood, which shows her resilience to anything being thrown her way.
